Dear Qur’an friends, today we will continue our amazing journey in Qur’ans country. One of the amazing chapters of this amazing journey is our next stop. Chapter Maida.
According to many healthy records this chapter includes the last arrived passages in Qur’ans history. Even there have been many rumors on the exact dates we can assume that they came close to the time of Last Hacc times which means the last tenth year of prophethood.
It’s name comes from the meaning of heavenly table of food. A reference to the 112nd and 114th verse we see by Jesus’ prays. If we check on the content of this chapter we see that it mainly includes the responsibilities of humans. It starts with this notion too. Addressing to human and ends with Allah. It ends with the note of informing us the ultimate dominion of Allah over heavens and earth. With this beginning and the ending parts it’s like a deep flow of human-Allah relations.
Chapter puts some general rules regarding to humans. Allah advises us not to change or alter these verdicts by making subjective thinkings. Also advises us not to befriend Jews and Christians in moral or political scale. Not to be close and trusting to them in these specific areas. Also it includes some other advises to community of Muhammad not to become Jewminded or Christianminded like before.
These two types of deviation, these ifrat and tefrit, these two sides of a pedestal are the sides that we should avoid. That’s why there are signs and and we check them again here. What were the behaviours of early muslim sons of Israels so bad that they become Jewminded, what had the apostles and followers of Jesus done that there were so many unanswered questions emerged. These verses gives answer to such subjects.
Again in this chapter when we arrive the 40 and beyond verses which 48th verse represents the peak of it, makes a call to all religional structures asking them to know. And as a last thing I can tell about the content of this chapter is one of the last verses arrived according to the records, and believed to be the last verse of Qur’an to arrives this verse.
..elyevme ekmeltu lekum diynekum ve etmemtu aleykum ni’metiy ve radiytu lekumul Islame diyna.. Maide/3
Third verse of this chapter brings us the reason of this chapter entirely. To Muhammed of All Communities, Last Prophet, The Leader of Islamic Community, “Allah chose Submission (Islam) as a religion to you.” This verse comes with subtle hints of the completion of Qur’ans entirety, this great gift of happiness was finally complete and if people do choose to deliver its lessons to their lives, they will indeed find happiness both in this worlds and in the next one. After this small summary we can step into this journet of translating this chapter.
In the name of Allah, Rahman and Rahim (Allah is)
All creations seize to exist when we say Allah, only one remains. Everything disappears in Allah’s being. When we call Allah, Rahman and Rahim, creation comes bound and in need of being. As a sign of Allah’s blessing, mercy and compassion, creation of human wants to live. He says its having your mercy, living. Then let me live, let me exist, so that I shall too have a piece of your blessing.
1-) Ya eyyuhelleziyne amenu evfu Bil ‘ukud* uhillet lekum behiymetul en’ami illa ma yutla aleykum gayre muhillis saydi ve entum hurum* innAllahe yahkumu ma yuriyd;
O believers, fulfill your contracts in full… Grazing livestock (sheep, cattle, goat, camel, etc.) has been made permissible for you with the condition that you do not consider hunting lawful animals for yourselves while you are in ihram, and except for that with which you have been informed… Indeed Allah ordains what He wills. (A.Hulusi)
O ye who believe! fulfill (all) obligations. Lawful unto you (for food) are all beasts of cattle, with the exceptions named: But animals of the chase are forbidden while ye are in the sacred precincts or in the state of pilgrimage: for Allah doth command according to His will and plan. (A.Yusuf Ali)
Ya eyyuhelleziyne amenu Allah directly addresses people who Show faith in Him here and say this, if you are sincere in your claims of faith evfu Bil ‘ukud fulfill your contracts in full.
Ukud is the plural form of akid, contract. Akit can be examined under 3 topics.
- Contract between human and Allah.
- Contract of human within himself, with his own self and ego. A bodn between him and his conscience, nature and freewill. It’s a natural contract, a natural bond. First one was an ontological contract. Human-Allah contracts are ontological by nature since a person cannot exist without Allah. So it’s frontal. No single creature can be excluded from this contract.
But this second contract is natural. A bond comes with life. Because the will you are given, the nature, mind you are given are both contracts with Allah for you. So what you do with them also makes a contract for you. Since you cannot break them, you should promise to use them without distorting it, corrupting it, keep your mind intact and you will never betray your will. It’s a contract between you and your own will.
- Contract of humans with societies. These can be marriage bonds, commercial bonds, political bonds, declarations and many other social contracts. All contracts involve you and another human being can be counted under this category.
So you who have the claims of faith with them, evfu Bil ‘ukud fulfill your contracts in full. By saying that you should fulfill your contracts, verse also declares that human should take care of his own integrity, loyalty in the largest scale. All legit and logical contracts must be included here in this verses content. That’s why the Word ukud is necessary here. Contracts, bonds. Firstly to Allah, secondly to his own being and thirdly to ones own enviroment, his society, his words given.
uhillet lekum behiymetul en’ami illa ma yutla aleykum. Lawful unto you (for food) are all beasts of cattle (herbivorous), except these…
behiymetul en’am this part can be translate as bovine type animals but this translation wouldn’t suffice then. You can translate it as beasts of cattle bu in a more modern understanding we see the meaning includes all types of animals who are herbivorous by nature.
You may ask now why does the subject of food and meat comes to the picture after making such a great entrance. gayre muhillis saydi ve entum hurum while you are in ihram, hunting is not permitted to you. Yes, why such a sentence here. Is it really that important for us to comsume herbivorous animal in a specific period. We should look at the situation with both micro and macro aspects. Remember life is made from little details. Houses are built with sands and humans are built with cells. Without the disease of tissue, organs cannot get infected. Death starts with cells. That’s why we need these boundries, limitations.
Why does Allah draw these lines. Allah’s drawing lines is the test of will. If those lines aren’t there how could this be named as a test. What would be the value if there were no rules of an exam?
Of course there’s another side if this situation. Verses beyond this point contains mostly informations about food and consuming. Because there’s a direct connection between a person behaviours and his food. But more that that Allah wants us to notice something. It’s this. “Will you accept my definitions about right and wrong all will all of you make up your own definitions about this?” It’s a question of trust from Rabb of All Worlds to us.
How much do you trust me. This is faith. This is testing the belief. My Rabb, define the good and evil. I follow your definitions of good and evil without questioning. So right here we should not examine these verses with their literal meanings but their subtexts and metaphors. We should try to understand the depth of each verse, each word.
innAllahe yahkumu ma yuriyd Last sentence of this verse supports the claims that I just give. Indeed Allah ordains what He wills. Allah gives commands what Allah wills. The main this is man following Allah’s will. It’s the definition of submission without comdition. This is Islam.
2-) Ya eyyuhelleziyne amenu la tuhiıllu SheairAllahi ve lesh Shehrel Harame ve lel Hedye ve lel Kalaide ve la Ammiynel Beytel Harame yebtegune fadlen min Rabbihim ve ridvana* ve iza haleltum fastadu* ve la yecrimennekum sheneanu kavmin en saddukum anil Mescidil Harami en ta’tedu* ve teavenu alel Birri vet Takva* ve la teavenu alel ismi vel ‘udvan* vettekullah* innAllahe shediydul ‘ikab;
O believers! Do not disrespect the rites of Allah (the signs of Allah; that which evokes or causes to feel and perceive Allah) the sacred months, the sacrifices offered to the Baytullah, special sacrifices and to those who come to the Bayt in search of the bounty and the pleasure of their Rabb… You can hunt once you come out of ihram… Do not let your hatred towards a people who (previously) prevented you from entering the Masjid al-Haram lead you to transgress your boundaries… Help each other based on the essence of the reality (albirra) and taqwa (protecting yourself in the way of Allah from the inadequacies of your identity) not on wrongdoing and enmity… Protect yourselves from Allah (as He will enforce upon you the consequences of your actions). Certainly Allah is shadid-ul iqab (the Enforcer of the consequences of wrongdoings). (A.Hulusi)
O ye who believe! Violate not the sanctity of the symbols of Allah, nor of the Sacred Month, nor of the animals brought for sacrifice, nor the garlands that mark out such animals, nor the people resorting to the Sacred House, seeking of the bounty and good pleasure of their Lord. But when ye are clear of the sacred precincts and of pilgrim garb, ye may hunt, and let not the hatred of some people in (once) shutting you out of the Sacred Mosque lead you to transgression (and hostility on your part). Help ye one another in righteousness and piety, but help ye not one another in sin and rancor: fear Allah: for Allah is strict in punishment. (A.Yusuf Ali)
Ya eyyuhelleziyne amenu O believers! la tuhiıllu SheairAllahi Do not disrespect the rites of Allah ve lesh Shehrel Harame the sacred months ve lel Hedye ve lel Kalaide the sacrifices offered to the Baytullah ve la Ammiynel Beytel Harame yebtegune fadlen min Rabbihim ve ridvana special sacrifices and to those who come to the Bayt in search of the bounty and the pleasure of their Rabb.
Right now, I want to stay on SheairAllah Allah’s symbols. Sheair means symbol. As you know every belief system has their own unique symbols matching their ideology and education. Just like flags are the symbols of nations. Currencies are the symbols nations. For example Hammer and Sickle is the symbol of Marxism also the base ideology of Soviet Union.
Allah also has symbols. Ezan is a symbol. Kaaba is a symbol, Hacer-ul Esved Stone is a symbol. Sa’y, the distance between Merve and Safa hills is a symbol of Allah. Hacc itself is a symbol. A completion of symbols in fact. And like every symbol, it represents a truth.
Symbols are like envelopes. The truth they carry are the letters in these envelopes. If you empty these letters, you left with useless papers. You take away the real values of symbols then. Betraying the symbols can occur. There are two ways of this betrayal. Two types of insults.
1-Insult from inside
2-Insult from outside
Insult from inside is that the people who try to defend the symbol, emptying the content of truth from within the symbol. Only keeping the physical moves of a praying and not be able to live it, resurrect it, making it a part of your lifestyle. Emptying the Hacc is turning a sacred journey, becoming Abraham, Adam and Ismael to a touristic vacation. This is insulting hacc symbol form inside.
Emptying ezan. As you know ezan is a magnificent call for praying. It’a a valueable call that are read from mosques minarets as symbols. It’a call towards Allah that every man should do for their souls.
Emptying fasting. An empty fasting can present itself in a form of useless diet. That’s why every symbol can be tainted and insluted internally as well as from outside. Insulting from outside is more obvious than the rather. It’s insulting the symbol, the truth it represents and the owner of that symbol. By that mean, making an outside insult is insulting Allah directly.
ve leshehrel Haram Disrespecting the sacred month here. Sacred month was a tradition coming from the age of ignorance. Probably a tradition by the roots of Abraham’s era. A tradition set for preventing wars and battles in Hacc months so that people who come make their pilgrimage peacefully. Islam didn’t revoke the tradition nor did it make a part of itself though. Just leave it as it was and it should be.
Islam in this sense by Qur’ans message is a seperator, not wiper. There were many useful traditions before Islam and they weren’t totally wiped away. But they weren’t become a part of Islam too like this one.
ve lel Hedye offerings, sacrificial offerings. If a thing is on sacrificial status to Allah, disrespecting it, touching it, insulting it has the same meaning of betraying Allah. No hands shall harm our Rabb. But you also witness that whoever in the mind of insulting Allah, cannot reach their goals in the end. That’s why many choose the way of insulting that things belong to Allah. Those who want to insult Allah, insult Allah’s orders, for example. Insulting Allah’s symbols. If you see anyone doing that, know well that their intentions are all about insulting Allah. If Allah have a specific address, you can be sure that this people go to that address just to throw their insults and filth to Allah. But since they are unable to do that, they just insult Allah’s symbols. They only have power to do that. But don’t forget that their real intentions are to insult Allah.
ve lel Kalaide ve la Ammiynel Beytel Harame yebtegune fadlen min Rabbihim ve ridvana nor the people resorting to the Sacred House, seeking of the bounty and good pleasure of their Lord.
ve iza haleltum fastadu Resume hunting after you execute your duties regarding Hacc. Here Hacc is a rehearse of Judgment Day. Some things permitted in Daily life become restricted during Hacc period. Like I said, it’s like a rehearse. Can people hunt during the gathering. In Judgement Day, can one really thing about hunting?
You are on Trial. You are giving the exam of your life. You are in front of a Supreme Court. You are Adam there.
You are Abraham there, Adam there. Lost your Paradise and begging at Allah’s door for forgiveness because you couldn’t stay loyal to your contract.
You are Ismael there. About to become a sacrifice yourself. You are Hagar there, surrendered, submitted. Can one thing of hunting for meat there?
So restricting some things when you are making your Hacc duties in your garb is to make your fill the roles of Abraham, Hagar and Ismael and such. So that you can feel your duties when you are rehearsing for filling the symbol.
ve la yecrimennekum sheneanu kavmin en saddukum anil Mescidil Harami en ta’tedu Let not the hatred of some people in once shutting you out of the Sacred Mosque lead you to transgression.
Qur’an sets one of the most constant moral principle here. Experiencing tyrany is no excuse to oppress others. A muslim doesn’t torture another by any means. As in you cannot oppress someone in the name of Allah. When doing something your intentions might be Allah but if you say, “I torture and oppress in the name of Allah.” then you become the biggest insult to Allah.
As you can see a ridiculous scene happens. That’s why we see in a hadith these words. “I forbid oppression even to my own ego.” This is Rasulallah’s words with the inspiration from our Rabb.
I forbid oppression even to my own ego. And what about people. If a harm comes to you, you don’t need to turn that evil to oppression for anyone else. Because you are a true believer. Your mean of existence is not to validate or create oppression but to eliminate. Your reason of existence in this world is the wipe out the tyrany. That’s why the most important moral principle is reminded to all believers there and the message continues after that.
Vettekullah the biggest guarantee of staying away from tyrany is the be in the mind of responsibility to Allah. If you live by this state of mind then you can stay away from oppression. ve teavenu alel Birri vet Takva help each others in virtue and takwa. ve la teavenu alel ismi vel ‘udvan not in evil deeds and hostility. Be in coalition for virtue and takwa not in being enemies and creating oppression.
el Birri means virtue. You can multiply the meanings and takwa has the meaning of avoiding.
Birr is the order. Takwa is the restriction.
Birr is the things that you should do and takwa is the things that you should stay away.
Birr is the return Allah’s right to Allah and takwa is the give up your own right. These are the meanings given by arifs (deep scholars) They also say,
Birr is to follow the orders of sheria (law) without questioning. Takwa is to avoid the egos desires and other evil paths.
In this sense I identify Birr as the consciousness of creation and Takwa as the consciousness of Allah.
Birr is the consciousness of humanity within people. It’s virtue and it can be veiled or uncovered at any time. Some kill the virtue others resurrect it. Virtue can be moved to the most alive point by faith and can be killed by blasphemy. The thing that can unveil and resurrect the virtue is the consciousness of Allah. Only then, only the Allah’s mind and mans mind come in the same spot, that person can be complete. That person can become the most complete individual.
ve la teavenu alel ismi vel ‘udvan* vettekullah* innAllahe shediydul ‘ikab fear Allah. For Allah is strict in punishment.
3-) Hurrimet aleykumul meytetu veddemu ve lahmul hinziyri ve ma uhille li gayrillahi Bihi velmunhanikatu velmevkuzetu velmuteraddiyetu vennetiyhatu ve ma ekeles sebu’u illa ma zekkeytum ve ma zubiha alen nusubi ve en testaksimu Bil ezlam* zalikum fisk* elyevme yeiselleziyne keferu min diynikum fela tahshevhum vahshevni, elyevme ekmeltu lekum diynekum ve etmemtu aleykum nimetiy ve radiytu lekumul Islame diyna* femenidturre (femenizdurre) fiy mahmesatin gayre mutecanifin liismin feinnAllahe Gafurun Rahiym;
Prohibited to you is the flesh of dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been slaughtered in a name other than Allah. Also prohibited to you is the flesh of animals that are killed by strangling, or by beating, or in a fall, or skinned to death, or killed and partly eaten by a wild animal, or sacrificed on stone altars. Also, seeking fortune (in regards to the future) by divining arrows (or other fortune telling methods)! All of this is corruption. Those who deny the reality today have given up on invalidating your religion… So fear them not, but be in awe of Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion (your acquisition of religious knowledge) and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam (complete submission to Allah) as (the understanding of) religion… Whoever is forced by severe hunger to eat of these may do so, without assuming what is unlawful to be lawful… Indeed, Allah is the Ghafur, the Rahim. (A.Hulusi)
Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah; that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: Yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. (A.Yusuf Ali)
Hurrimet aleykumul meytetu Forbidden to you, these… Dead animal veddemu blood. Dead animal obviously, there’s no need to explain. Animals which died by natural causes. Veddem spilled blood, according to another verse, blood in general ve lahmul hinziyri flesh of swine ve ma uhille li gayrillahi Bihi and that which has been slaughtered in a name other than Allah.
Anything slaughter in a name other than Allah, whether its heavenly or the opposite. There’s no difference even if you slaughter an animal in the name of a prophet. Because you violate Allah’s right by doing that. You try to give Allah’s right to another person, this is the shift of dimension. An imbalance in Fundamentals. Creator is creator, all other things are creations. Creator is one thing, creatures are another. A right of a creator cannot be transfered to a creature. That’s why Allah doesn’t include any deitifying act in His domain. An act like this only pulls Allah’s wrath to itself.
This is the message here, the subtext that wants to be given. Don’t betray Allah. Don’t try to usurp Allah’s right and give it to another parties.
A question comes to the pool of course. What about animals who are slaughtered in a name of nothing. No sacrificial meat, just taking a live of an animal for the reason of consuming. There’s no proof that animal is killed in a name of something so is it all right to consume such meat? Islamic scholars give two different answer to this question. Yes and no.
I believe the clean principle is a necessity in matters of material so when we take the situation from the perspective of there’s no pressure in religion, a license can be given in certain occasions. But if there’s an alternative source of food which is clean and guaranteed, it would be wise to follow the safe road, just to be sure.
velmunhanikatu strangled velmevkuzetu beaten to death velmuteraddiyetu animals that fall from a height vennetiyhatu animals who are slaughtered or gored by other animals ve ma ekeles sebu’u illa ma zekkeytum animals who are torn by other animals except you take their lives beforehand ve ma zubiha alen nusubi sacrificial meats that are slaughtered over heathenic altars. All these are forbidden to you.
Sentence is obvious. All animals presented and slaughtered as a sacrifice over heathenic altars. There are certain things which we cannot explain due to physical and material reasons. What kind of changes a piece of meat may undergo if it is slaughtered in a name other that Allah. Sacrificed to idols, being presented to pagan deities.
As you can see the verse doesn’t only address to our beings and minds. Because Allah’s intentions isn’t only limited with humans world but to establish the afterlife as well. Because Allah chooses to address humans not only by mind but with soul and heart which can expand to an unlimited potential.
That’s why reducing some limitations to mere hygenic reasons is the same thing with not understanding Allah completely. Because if that was the case, first forbidden decree would be poison related ones. But we cannot find something like that anywhere. That’s why dear friends like we told by the beginning of the chapter, following the rules of a law is about testing our wills. This is the test. Like we can see we don’t have the power of capacity to fully understand the depths of such a decree but we should follow it anyway.
-My capacity doesn’t allow me to understand O Rabb, but if you command it, then it shall be good for my being.
This is the meaning of faith. Every person knows the harm of poison. You cannot show faith to the harms of poison. It’s obvious hence it’s unnecessary. It would make a wrong statement. Poison harms people. But having faith allows us to follow some specific rules and even if we cannot understand the main reason behind it we should follow it because Allah wants only the good for us for our trusts. This trust, this faith is the main cumulation which Allah puts to test and gives us the grades.
We see the truth within truth here. Of course none of them lacks reason. Allah doesn’t have a rule without reason. Sometimes a human mind can undestand the wisdom behind it, sometimes the verse is the verbal and written wisdom so that we can easily understand. But sometimes it cannot be. This is a test. That’s why no one can say something like, “We can disinfect the swine meat from germs and bacterias and other harmful components, we can eat it then.” No, this is a test and like we said, Allah’s rules aren’t like the other rules. You cannot violate them by altering the book. This is the meaning of facing Allah because Allah knows the depths of our hearts.
Nusub is the plural form of Nasibe. It represents all pagan altars and sacrificial grounds. The wisdom behind limitations is to dedicate the right to establish good-evil, beautiful-ugly to Allah. This is the meaning of restrictions. “O Rabb, assign the good and evil.”
Why, what happens when we assign them. Then there are goods and bads emerged by the number of people Because with what instruments a person can assign good and evil. People have common sense and a healthy mind, true. This common sense is the common experience of humanity. This is a verse within Allah’s verse at the same time.
For example, rape is rape everywhere around the World. Theft is bad. Murder has the same effect anywhere in the World. But to a person with a corrupted nature, who betrayed his conscience and takes murder and tyrany as a natural action, you cannot clasify these acts as bad to that person since they came to as pleasures for him. You don’t have permission to assign. A broken nature cannot establish good and evil either. Because then every person tries to assign good and bad according to their weaknesses, desires and egos.
For example we can seeit in the traditions of Ancient Greece. In ancient times of Greece, theft was a big value and practice. If a person was succesfully pull off a theft, he was valued. Look at the social dynamics on people, how can a bad thing shown as something good. A social consensus might be created to show good as bad and vice versa. That’s why people cannot give guarantee on good stays good and bad will always be bad. Only one thing can allow and maintain something like that and it’s the celestial laws.
ve en testaksimu Bil ezlam Also, seeking fortune (in regards to the future) by divining arrows. This is a reference to all fortune telling practices. What’s this? An insult to the unknown. A move against Allah’s law. It’s overstepping. Making prophecies about future and declaring them as future events is a direct violation of Allah’s laws territory. zalikum fiskum All of them are deviations. elyevme yeiselleziyne keferu min diynikum Those who deny the reality today have given up on invalidating your religion.
Verse gives us a glance of the psychology of that eras background. Telling true believers not to act like inferior to others. Make your symbols, your livestyles dominant in your lives. Your lifestyle is the right right onw. That’s why don’t feel fear or inferiorityy complex against your enemies. Why do you want to cover the good and the beautiful? This is a support of trust. Also the sentence of this verse.
fela tahshevhum vahshevni This is the peak of trust support here. Then don’t fear them, fear me. This is the ultimate trust. Allah’s guarantee. Making good as a part of life. Why should any people fear to live the Islam’s laws since it contains the constant values of humanity. Whom do you ashamed from? If there’s anyone to fear, obviously Allah is the one to be feared. If you both believe in Allah and fear to do the right thing because of your fears to other people then you hav e a faith problem. You should find this problem and sort it out.
elyevme ekmeltu lekum diynekum And the manager verse here, the reason of this chapter even in Qur’an. Today I completed your religion to fullest. ve etmemtu aleykum ni’metiy completed my blessing over you. ve radiytu lekumul Islame diyna I chose Islam (Submission to Allah) as a lifestyle for you. Submission to Allah. Yes. Islam’s definition is exactly this. I chose this lifestyle for you.
This is the last verse of Qur’an. It arrived before the 81 or 82 days of Rasulallah’s passing, tenth year of Hejira, 9th day of Zilhicce month, on Araphat mountain.
Last direct addressing of Allah to humanity, last form of Allah and mankinds interactions. Qur’an became complete there. The message of this verse is clear. O humanity, your stance in front of Allah should be submission. If you want to be happy, you have no other choice.
Islam is the personal stance of human for Allah. Islam isn’t the name of a group in history or a single clan. All Islamic concepts in Qur’an are references to peoples stance for Allah. That’s why there’s no importance of a persons tribe. Your stance is the important one. Your behaviour for Allah. Are you standing as a worshipper who really understand the meaning of submission or are you really a rebel. This is the meaning of becaming Islam. Not the names, aliases or badges you put on yourselves. Because Islam is not a shirt or a name or a uniform.
Islam is a way of life. A stance. A life perception. A lifestyle. A vision of universe. That’s why Islam is the whole meaning of surrendering Allah completely. It doesn’t matter what you call yourselves, it’s Allah’s definition for you that matters. If Allah says, “This one submits” then you are a muslim. And the signs of ones submission are in these texts. In this book.
femenidturre (femenizdurre) fiy mahmesatin gayre mutecanifin liismin Back to the first topic at hand.Whoever is forced by severe hunger to eat of these may do so, without assuming what is unlawful to be lawful… feinnAllahe Gafurun Rahiym; Indeed, Allah is the Ghafur, the Rahim.
A request was made that these restrictions should be considered formal. As in the finger points out the moon so you should be looking at the moon not the finger. All these restrictions are to test your wills, your faiths and your submissions to Allah. It’s not about killing you by starving. If you are in a pinch, if you have no alternative, Allah doesn’t hold you responsible.
There’s a test here. A test with your own conscience for Allah. How much do you take Allah seriously? How much do you take yourself seriously? This is the problem. Otherwise Allah have nothing to gain from starving you to death. You should percieve restrictions not with the actual visages but with the background of these restrictions. Not just read the text, read the subtexts as well. Allah’s doesn’t want you to suffer hardships.
4-) Yes’eluneke maza uhille lehum* kul uhille lekumut tayyibatu, ve ma allemtum minel cevarihi mukellibiyne tuallimunehunne mimma allemekumullah* fekulu mimma emsekne aleykum vezkurusmAllahi aleyh* vettekullah* innAllahe seriy’ul hisab;
They ask you what has been made permissible to them… Say, “All good and clean foods have been made permissible to you… And those caught by the hunting animals that you have trained in the way of Allah, so eat what they catch for you and speak the name of Allah upon them… Certainly Allah is Sari-ul-Hisab (Allah instantly puts into effect the consequences of one’s actions). (A.Hulusi)
They ask thee what is lawful to them (as food). Say: Lawful unto you are (all) things good and pure: and what ye have taught your trained hunting animals (to catch) in the manner directed to you by Allah: eat what they catch for you, but pronounce the name of Allah over it: and fear Allah; for Allah is swift in taking account. (A.Yusuf Ali)
Yes’eluneke maza uhille lehum* They ask you what has been made permissible to them… kul uhille lekumut tayyibatu Say, “All good and clean foods have been made permissible to you…
Tayyibat clean and good is the way I chose to translate it. Because who may determine the clean and good. It’s like we discussed above. Mankind may choose this? How can humanity choose tayyibat, clean and good, how can people choose such things for all humanity?
How can a drunk person behave in front of booze? Can you make such a person believe that booze is something bad; it’s not clean and good? How can you say heroin is bad to an addict?
What would be the response if you tell a rapist that fornication is bad?
How can you declare that murder is bad to a serial killer, a monster who bathed with murder to his soul?
If you let Allah to determine that, you will reach happiness. You don’t have any other choice. That’s why Allah determines what’s good and clean. Because if people become the chooser that, we choose from our desires, instincts and egos. So it would be a wise decision to let Allah determine since Allah is the being with no weakness, no need for anything, no need for food or dring or any type of creations. Allah is the one being beyond all creations so it’s only logical to trust Allah’s rules at all times.
Here there’s also a reference about Tayyibat is also the rules allowed. It’s like this in religions. One of the main rules in Religional Laws. Main rule of religion is not restrictions but allowance. That’s why when something is declared restricted, proof is always asked. But there’s no proof needed for somethings free use. If something isn’t restricted, it’s naturally allowed. According to some translators insights we see examples of this. For example we here the pattern Yes’eluneke They are asking you. People who are asking here want allowed rights to be declared. But Allah does the opposite. Only the restricted things are declared. So the question is corrected here.
They were in the intentions of using Qur’an to put shackles in their hands and feet. But like Rabb of All Worlds explained in several other verses, everything created in universe are created for the benefit of humanity. They are all in disposal for mankind. So if something is set to be disposal for humanity, it’s safe to say that thing is allowed.
ve ma allemtum minel cevarihi mukellibiyne tuallimunehunne mimma allemekumullah* And those caught by the hunting animals that you have trained in the way of Allah fekulu mimma emsekne aleykum eat what they catch for you, Hunting is a natural method which present from the beginning of mankind and possibly be with us till the end of our days. Nowadays it can be altered and people may use other means to eat but most of humanities timeline hunting has been a serious business and its importance has a lot of meaning This verse declares as verdict about trained hunting animal. vezkurusmAllahi aleyh but pronounce the name of Allah over it.
Vettekullah Here it is again. A judgement in microplan and then it is carried right away in macrosystem. A big sign is revealed above all times, all grounds, all lands, above history. vettekullah..! Fear Allah. Know your responsibilities for Allah. You can do all these if you are aware of this specific thing. If you take Allah seriously, you take yourselves seriously. Only then you can notince the responsibilities to each others, only then you can carry the responsibility of mankind. Only if you carry Birr as in the Takwa within you. innAllahe seriy’ul hisab; for Allah is swift in taking account.

This day, all good and pure foods have been made permissible to you… The food of those to whom the knowledge of the reality has been given is permissible to you… And your food is permissible to them… And the chaste women from among the believers and those to whom the knowledge of the reality was given before you are permissible (in marriage) to you, with the condition that you give their due dowry, and they stay away from adultery and refrain from secret affairs… Whoever disregards the conditions and requirements of faith and denies the reality, all his work will become worthless and he will be among the losers in the eternal life to come. (A.Hulusi)
This day are (all) things good and pure made lawful unto you. The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you and yours is lawful unto them. (Lawful unto you in marriage) are (not only) chaste women who are believers, but chaste women among the People of the Book, revealed before your time,- when ye give them their due dowers, and desire chastity, not lewdness, nor secret intrigues. If any one rejects faith, fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good). (A.Yusuf Ali)
Elyevme uhille lekumut tayyibat* This day are (all) things good and pure made lawful unto you. ve taamulleziyne utul Kitabe hillun lekum* The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you, all the things allowed to previous Book owners are allowed to Muslims as well ve taamukum hillun lehum* and yours is lawful unto them. vel muhsanatu minel mu’minati vel muhsenatu minelleziyne utul Kitabe min kablikum. You will give financial insurances to them. You won’t hold them illegally, there’s no secret friendship method allowed. Moral codes. You cannot turn her into a sexual object or slave just because she’s not one of your belief. This is the meaning of it.
But it also has a depper meaning. Qur’an seperates people of the Book even with a corrpted faith, it’s faith nonetheless. This privilage given to Christian and Jewish ladies is for them only. No heathen, no pagan woman can have this particular licence. So why the need for this. Why the need for seperation the women of Book communities from women of other paganic or atheist communities. Because Allah takes seriously of faith, even the ones that are not fully complete.
Yes the ones above are restricted in Tora. You can check the restricted list there. Flesh of swine, dead meat and blood are all restricted in Tora. Also keeping a woman secret and live a secret intimate life is restricted in Tora. Just like fornication restrictions.
So in Bible Jesus was saying, I’m not here to cancel them. I’m here to turn them into actions.” According to this notion, Tora’s restrictions should be fully preserved in Bible. Why then Christians can eat swine flesh, pig meat like it’s allowed, even with an attitude of sacred meat? There’s a dark secret here. How come booze become unrestricted like many others. We should search answer for these questions in Paul Christianism which corrupted Jesus’ message, of course.
The biggest treason of Paulus in Jesus Christianism was stripping the law mechanics out of belief. A religion without laws cannot interfere the life. And a belief that has no saying in lifestyle become passive in humans life rather that taking an active role. A religion without a life saying is nothing but a toy. It cannot be a belief anymore. Because for a religion to be fully complete it should make suggestions to people on their lives. For this reason Christianism is not a religion but a cult. Hence the dissatisfaction on masses, its lack of spirituality as well as materiality bring us the biggest proofs on this regard. For the same reason all corrupted, all psychotic ideologies emerge from Europe. A great and deep spiritual crysis. Provoking souls to do inexplicable things to fill the gaps in lives.
e men yekfur Bil iymani fekad habita ameluh A message to complete the one above. Whoever denies the faith; I’m translating this part without meeting a metaphor; whoever denies the faith, his action shall be in vain. ve huve fiyl ahireti minel hasiriyn; He will in the ranks of those who have lost their afterlife.
Faith denial can be taken two ways,
- Even with their own problems religious sects cannot be counted without faith to Allah. We understand this from Katade’s records as the reason of arrival.
According to Katade, this is the reason of arrival for this verse, we read it in Taberi. Considering faith absent is an opposite meaning with this idea. You don’t deny a Jew communities faith even with all its deformity, then how can you deny a believers faith because of his community? How can you deny a believers faith because of his clan, tribe, race, party, sect or community. Don’t you fear Allah? How can you treat believers as pagans? This is the message here.
2- Second meaning has a more literal use but lacks the target altogether. Whoever denies the faith to Allah. Instead of ve men yekfur Bil iyman a use of ve men yekfur el iymani billahi. But the message loses it meaning by that. It’s not about having faith to Allah, it’s denying the faith. This meaning both lacks the inner and other context so I find the first meaning more accurate on this one.
6-) Ya eyyuhelleziyne amenu iza kumtum iles Salati fagsilu vucuhekum ve eydiyekum ilel merafiki vemsehu Bi ruusikum ve erculekum ilel ka’beyn* ve in kuntum cunuben fattahheru* ve in kuntum merda ev ‘ala seferin ev cae ehadun minkum minel gaiti ev lamestumun nisae felem tecidu maen fe teyemmemu sa’iyden tayyiben femsehu Bi vucuhikum ve eydiykum minhu, ma yuriydullahu liyec’ale aleykum min harecin ve lakin yuriydu li yutahhirekum ve li yutimme ni’meteHU aleykum leallekum teshkurun;

But if ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from privy, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands. Allah doth not wish to place you in a difficulty, but to make you clean, and to complete his favor to you, that ye may be grateful. (A.Yusuf Ali)
Ya eyyuhelleziyne amenu O believers… iza kumtum iles Salati fagsilu vucuhekum ve eydiyekum ilel merafiki when ye prepare for prayer, wash your faces, and your hands and arms to the elbows.
This verse is falsely named ablution verse. This naming is not accurate since ablution didn’t start with this verse. These verses arrived much later, at the end of Qur’ans arrival period. But believers were taking ablutions long before that for their prayers. That’s why ablution started with Daily prayers. Hence the naming of this verse cannot be ablution. But more accurately it can be named as teyemmum verse. This is the verse which puts the must rule on teyemmum in Qur’an.
vemsehu Bi ruusikum ve erculekum ilel ka’beyn wipe over your heads and wash your feet up to your ankles.. Wiping and washing.
This reading has become one of the biggest debated amond Islamic scolars in Islamic history. Sunni opinion and Shii opinion differs by the reading of this part. One letter to be precise. All these references and opinions are about vav letter. V connector. Is it erculekum or erculikum? This connector is for the feet word the connection here is for the previous word or the following one?
Shia, Caferi, Zeydi, Imam Taberi, Ibn Abbas from Sahabe, Enes and Ali and some other from the first cummunity chose to use the un with the previous reading and read it as erculikum. With Kesra. That’s why they claim that wiping the feet with water in ablution is a must. They read the entire part like this. vemsehu Bi ruusikum ve erculikum ilel ka’beyn. Wipe over your hands and head and wipe over your feet to ankles.
Other opinion, Sunni comment for Islam is the un connection. They claim that the connection is not for a word but also before that point hence the reading ve erculekum For practical purposes it license the use of mest (a type of waterproof shoes) and water can be wiped over the shoes in certain sitguations. These are their opinions, I tried to deliver both sides opinions without adding my own comments and with equal claims and proofs. They both show Qur’an as their witnesses so the paths are for the ones who follow them.
This vav connection creates some other disputed of course Basra and Kufe linguistic schools are the origin of this dispute. This vav connector, is it representes the absolute order or follow and getting ready? As in the sentence which arrives before can make the following sentence with the same certainty?
Imam Shafi says that the order in ablution should be done in this verses order and it cannot be changed. But Imam Abu Caniph said that although everypart described in this verse should be done to establish an ablution, the order is not a complete necessity.
ve in kuntum cunuben fattahheru* nisae If you are in a state of impurity (janabah) then wash your whole body… ve in kuntum merda If you are ill ev ‘ala seferin or traveling ev cae ehadun minkum minel gaiti or have been to the lavatory ev lamestumun nisae or if you have slept with women. At this last part some debates surfaced among scholars. Literal meaning of lamestum is touching. Derives from the roots of Le, Me and Se. So debates are about the metaphorical meaning or literal meaning should be taken here.
Imam Shafi reached the conclusion of literal meanings path and said, touching a woman breaks the ablution state of a man. But Abu Caniph chose to go for the metaphorical path and I believe he’s more accurate on this one. Usage is metaphorical even in several languages this usage can be seen. Especially in situations like secret family interaction. So since Abu Caniph was saying that the message should be taken as metaphorical, ablution shouldn’t break just by touching a woman. In this case touching word has deeper meaning.
felem tecidu maen and if you cannot find water fe teyemmemu sa’iyden tayyiben femsehu Bi vucuhikum ve eydiykum minhu, then with intentions of purifying fe teyemmemu has the meaning of making an intention that why I choose to translate this part like this. Wipe your hands to clean earth with puryfing intentions. femsehu Bi vucuhikum ve eydiykum minhu, and rub therewith your faces and hands. This is the whole teyemmum (dry ablution) With intentions. It’s not reaching the ground by falling over it of course, the message by earth means the type of dirt here. Any kind of clean rock including limestone or sand. You put your hands over it and wipe your arms afterwards. Cover your faces by rubbing your hands over.
So wasn’t ablution about cleaning? As in ablution is the name of purifying the body and making it ready for praying which is the process of purifying the soul and mind. True. Ablution and praying are one of the main examples of Islam’s double dimensioned practices. Ablution is physical cleaning where praying provides spiritual cleansing. They complete each other. So all situations requires ablution and whole body ablution, one should go for the path of teyemmum in case of water shortage kinds of emergencies.
But the message here is different than the original and obvious practice. On emay ask can dirt provide cleansing, can it do the work of water. Dirt even by the name is taken as something that dirts. We say dirty for example. Wipe the dirt, get rid of dirt.
This is about testing the submission. Are you checking the envelope or the letter within. Are you looking for the covering or the center. It’s about unformalising the job unlike Jews. Allah doesn’t want soap and water from you. It’s for you. All Allah asks from you is submission.
This is consciousness of Allah. Rejecting religious ritualizations. Rejecting Jewminding. Some people cannot process the depths of dry ablution. So change your perspectives. It’s not the problem. Problem is maintaining the healthy relation between you and Allah. It’s about adding Allah to your daily lives. It’s this. This is the consciousness of Allah. This is the reason behind dry ablution. Otherwise Allah doesn’t need your prayers, fastings or ablutions. It’s you who really needs all these.
ma yuriydullahu liyec’ale aleykum min harecin This is what completes what I explains so far Allah doth not wish to place you in a difficulty ve lakin yuriydu li yutahhirekum ve li yutimme ni’meteHU aleykum leallekum teshkurun, but to make you clean, and to complete his favor to you, that you may be grateful.
A person wins if he’s alive and fit. As in people who maintain a healthy relation with Allah always be on the gaining side. Allah’s advice for you is the maintain this relation. Not just forcing you to touch water and soap everytime. This dry ablution is a revolutionary practice among communities who are in low water life. So this verse should also be understood by social perspectives.

The promise given to Allah is the nature. The conscience, mind, will. And friends, justice is only possible is one has a healthy relationship with Allah. Otherwise, if these ties are severedi one cannot mention about the justice. We should read and understand these messages with this soul.

O ye who believe! stand out firmly for Allah, as witnesses to fair dealing, and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to piety: and fear Allah. For Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do. (A.Yusuf Ali)

Qur’an gives us the greatest virtue of earth. What more can we want from Qur’an. That’s why these messages are not for a specific community but the entire human race.
Here the message is for everyone. The humanity is addressed here. Even the verse starts with the words, O believers, the principle it brings is for all of us. It says Do not let your hatred for a specific group of people lead you to be unjust!
On the eclipse of unity for human-Allah relations as well as the justice for human – human relations. Celestial message has two purposes. Creating the unity bond as human-Allah relations and creating justice among people for the sake of human-human relations. That’s why Allah addresses people. i’dilu* huve akrebu lit takva be fair. This is the shortest path to be under Allah’s supervision.
I translated the word takwa here different that I did before. Because I believe the verse creates a differetn nuance within. The shortest path to be under Allah supervision is justice. The message can be taken from here.
Vettekullah as you can see two types of takwa arrived here. I translate this one with its literal meaning. Know your responsibilities to Allah. innAllahe Habiyrun Bi ma ta’melun; Without a doubt Allah is aware of all your doings.
9-) Ve’adAllahulleziyne amenu ve amilus salihati lehum magfiretun ve ecrun aziym;
Allah has promised those who believe and live as their faiths require, “There is forgiveness and a great reward for them.” (A.Hulusi)

Ve’adAllahulleziyne amenu ve amilus salihati To those who believe and do deeds of righteousness lehum magfiretun ve ecrun aziym Allah promised forgiveness and a great reward.
Isn’t that right dear friends, unbounded principles brings unbounded identities and immense rewards. If you hold on to that principles, you won’t be asked which clan or community you are in. If you hold on to that eternal and celestial principles, you will have your great rewards. You should only be fair for your principles. But if one chooses to say, I’m from them. I’m among these people. And on top of it, if you don’t hold on to these principles and broke them at every opportunity, Allah doesn’t take your claims seriously.

O ye who believe! Call in remembrance the favor of Allah unto you when certain men formed the design to stretch out their hands against you, but (Allah) held back their hands from you: so fear Allah. And on Allah let believers put (all) their trust. (A.Yusuf Ali)
Ya eyyuhelleziyne amenuzkuru ni’metAllahi aleykum O believers… Remember the favor of Allah upon you… We are called here iz hemme kavmun en yebsutu ileykum eydiyehum fekeffe eydiyehum ankum Remember when a community wanted to lay their hands on you and Allah had pulled their hands away from you…
Literal meaning in this verse comes from a historical event for the reason of arrival. Batn-i Nahle Incident. Also a failed assassination of Gavres bin Haris. But both incidents happened after the verse had arrived. There are may more examples in history fort his message hence the importance of the verse comes from it.
Allah has treated us with mercy and blessing also blocked the hands which reach to our faiths. Allah pull back their efforts we see it. If we as believers are willing to pay the price of our faith, we don’t only have the joy of following our faiths in afterlife but in this life as well. That’s why it’s not possible to limit this verses message by a single historical event.
vettekullah* Again the same frame has opened. Know your responsibilities to Allah. ve alellahi fel yetevekkelil mu’minun; And believers shall only put their trust to Allah. Isn’t Allah enough? eleysallahu bi kafin abduhu Isn’t Allah enough for His believers? If you look for a safe haven, a sanctuary, Allah is enough for you. Nothing can have the utmost safety beside Allah.

Allah did aforetime take a covenant from the Children of Israel, and We appointed twelve chieftains among them. And Allah said: “I am with you: if ye (but) establish regular prayers, give Zakat (regular charity), believe in my messengers, honor and assist them, and loan to Allah a beautiful loan, verily I will wipe out from you your evils, and admit you to Gardens with rivers flowing beneath; but if any of you, after this, resisteth faith, he hath truly wandered from the path or rectitude.” (A.Yusuf Ali)

Why suddenly this verse comes to the frame, why this subject all of a sudden. Like I said, the biggest message here is to Muhammads community. O community of Muhammad, don’t become Jewminded people as the community of Moses have become. Look at them, look at those people who broke their promises to Allah, their covenants with Allah. Look at them at behave accordingly. This brings us a historical example on those who break their promises.
lein ekamtumus Salate before that there’s a nakiyp above. It means protector, researcher also spy. And a number 12 usney asher . This 12 number became a taboo in Islamic cultural history. 12 Imams tradition comes from this origin. There are also some hadiths on this subject. Like the sacrecy of this number. But I find it more accurate that this number isn’t something from Islamic culture but more of an Israelian cultures part.
lein ekamtumus Salate If you perform salat… Verse says salat not praying. I preserved it as it should. What is the condition of salat in Jew religion. It’s directly related to this verses 1, 6 and 7th verses, my dear Qur’an friends.
Here performing salat. Salat is a symbol among Allah’s symbols. I represents humans existence and accepting Allah into his life. Performing salat also has the meaning of supporting religion. When you perform salat of your religion, you naturally support it. It’s the symbol of support to relition, faith to Allah and Allah’s message altogether. If a person doesn’t support Allah, prophet and the message, then he ridicules salat. Qur’an explains this with these words in Maun Chapter. Elleziyne hum an Salatihim sahun, Elleziyne hum yuraun; Maun 5/6. They were perfoming salat just as a show, only with its physical self. This is it if their salats don’t turn into supports. I should give you the numbers of related verses.
It is HU who reflects upon you and His angels (the forces of His Names), to bring you out of the darkness (of your formed illusory identities) into the Nur (life based on the knowledge of the reality)! And is ever, Rahim to those who believe in their essential reality. Ahzap/43
“Indeed, I am Allah! There is no deity-god, only Me! So serve Me (by manifesting the qualities of My Names)! And experience salat to remember Me!” Taha/14
Read and inform the knowledge (Book) that has been revealed to you, and establish salat… Indeed, salat keeps immorality (going to excess as a result of corporeality) and bad deeds (things that go against sunnatullah) away… Indeed, the dhikr (remembrance) of Allah is Akbar (enables one to experience Akbariyyah – Absolute Magnificence)! Allah knows the state you are in. Ankebut/45
If you compare ans study these verses with my lessons, you realize how accurate this meaning really is. There’s also another use of the word salat in Qur’an. In Hud/87 it has the meaning of celebration. That’s why salat is the name of commitment to Allah in the largest sense for humans existence.
ve ateytumuz Zekate they give alms, help without waiting a return for cleansing. Yes, we said that salat is the name of commitment to Allah for humans existence. Zekah is the name of commitment to Allah in humans possessions. Riches and wealth. This is the case.
ve amentum Bi rusuliy, that’s why in many sentences of Qur’an salat and zekah come side by side. Verse continues. ve amentum Bi rusuliy ve azzertumuhum believe in the Rasuls and support them, ve akradtumullahe kardan hasenen and give Allah a good loan (based on the emphasis ‘I am indeed with you,’ the loans you give to others are loans that are given to Allah),.
Why? “Everything has done for Allah is a credit opening to Allah. More truly it’s Allah’s credit giving to you. Allah gives you credit only if you open the way of credit with your actions. Otherwise Allah doesn’t need credit from any of us. Allah has no use of credit but we do as worshippers.

They distort the meanings of words and have forgotten to take a share of the realities with which they have been cautioned. Except for a very few, you will see deceit from them… Forgive them and do not worry! Indeed, Allah loves the doers of good. (A.Hulusi)
But because of their breach of their covenant, We cursed them, and made their hearts grow hard: they change the words from their (right) places and forget a good part of the message that was sent them, nor wilt thou cease to find them – barring a few – ever bent on (new) deceits: but forgive them, and overlook (their misdeeds): for Allah loveth those who are kind. (A.Yusuf Ali)
Fe Bi ma nakdihim miysakahum leannahum ve cealna kulubehum kasiyeten And here comes the result, dear friends. What happened to them? We have cursed them for breaking their covenant and hardened their hearts.
Community of Muhammad is warned here about becoming Jewminded like sons of Israel. Don’t break your promises with Allah. You become like them. Your hearts hardens. How can one hear Allah’s voice, verses sound if his conscience is mute. Because conscience is just another form of revelations.
yuharrifunel kelime an mevadi’ihi what have they done after that, what did they do when their hearts are blackened. Now they try to sever the ties between the message and the context. Cutting the connections between wisdom. We studied in Nisa/46. They do hermonotic corruption. It’s not about corrupting Qur’an by distorting their words to something other. There’s another way to sever the ties of revelations. Corrupting by meanings and comments. One can pull the meaning something entirely different than Allah’s intentions with comments. Ignoring the meaning that Allah gives to these words is the definition of Jewminded corruption and this is the general way of this destruction today.
ve nesu hazzan mimma zukkiru Bihi, and forget a good part of the message that was sent them, ve la tezalu tattaliu ala hainetin minhum illa kaliylen minhum Except for a very few, you will see deceit from them… Yes, the general rule. Can you wait honesty from a person who betrayed his own creator. These words are about them. O Muhammad and believers, they betrayed Allah. So why do you be surprised when they also betray you? This question is admissable for todays traitors. How can we believe those people when we are aware of their treason against Allah?
fa’fu anhum vasfah* Forgive them and do not worry! innAllahe yuhibbul muhsiniyn; Indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.
Hopefully we will join the ranks well treaters so that we will be treated well too. Allah, who is the creator of love, loves mankind and deserves to be loved by us, is the most worthy being to love.
“Ve ahiru davana velil hamdulillahi rabbil alemiyn” (Jonah/10) “Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds!” All products of our claims, causes and lives are for Allah and our last word to our Allah is “Hamd”.
